Call for Participants: 2027 RSA Institute on Feminist Food Rhetorics
You are invited to the 2027 RSA Summer Institute Seminar 5: Issues in Feminist Food Rhetorics: Conflicts, Tensions, Possibilities. This seminar will meet from June 7-10 in Louisville, KY and will be led by Consuelo Carr Salas, Eileen E. Schell, Abby M. Dubisar, and Kelli R. Gill.
The seminar is aimed at teacher-scholars interested in feminist food rhetorics. The structure of the seminar will provide a strong foundation in feminist food rhetorics scholarship and encourage conversation and speculationabout the next steps for the field, including participants’ individual research and teaching projects. We invite participants with a wide range of interests and experience with these topics,but no previous experience in food rhetorics is required.
